Privacy policy

Who we are
AIX Consulting is the AI practice of CreativeWorks, based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Messages you send to Jarvis, our AI assistant, and anything you choose to include in them, such as your name, email address, phone number and details about your business.
Basic technical information our hosting provider records when you visit, such as IP address and browser type.
Your conversation is also kept in your own browser for the current tab, so it survives a page refresh. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To answer your questions, follow up when you ask us to, improve how Jarvis answers, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information.
AI, and the people behind it
Jarvis is an AI. Its replies are generated by OpenAI's models through their API; we ask OpenAI not to store these conversations. Jarvis can make mistakes, and nothing it says is legal, tax or financial advice.
A person from our team can read conversations as they happen and may join the chat. When that happens, the chat shows their name.
We do not make decisions that significantly affect you using automated processes alone.
Where it is stored
Conversations are stored with Cloudflare (Oceania region). To deliver the service, information may also be processed by OpenAI in the United States and by Telegram, which our team uses to read and reply to chats, on servers outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep chat transcripts for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless we need them longer for a client relationship you have with us or by law.
Your choices
You can use the site without giving us your name or contact details. You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us.
If you are not happy with how we handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
